STYLISA is a fashion styling brand with a difference.  We work very closely with our clients to develop style strategies that can be aligned with their business and career strategies, in order to heighten awareness of their brand and through doing so, increase their earning potential.   We are of the belief that creating the right image is all about making intellectual style choices, and not merely a case of going shopping for a suitable outfit.  Our aim is simply to develop effective style strategies that result in results.  Our services are based, not only on our expertise in styling, but also a sound and thorough understanding of the client and their business.  Through extensive research into the client’s arena, we are able to develop strategies that will have a positive effect on them and their business brand.

STYLISA also identifies possible collaborative opportunities for our clients.  These opportunities can be fashion-based or otherwise, depending on their suitability and whether they can be successfully aligned with the client’s core values.

The company was set up by fashion stylist Lisa Maynard-Atem.  Lisa’s commercial styling experience includes ITV (Celebrity Love Island, Soapstar Superstar), the BBC, L'Oreal Colour Trophy Awards, Hello and OK Magazine.  Lisa also writes fashion-related articles for several fashion and lifestyle magazines.  Lisa made her name within fashion circles by styling former Coronation Street star Richard Fleeshman, when he sang on Soapstar Superstar.

In March 2008, Lisa was shortlisted for the New Business Start-Up 2008 by the Ethnic Minority Business Forum, as well as two other business awards.  Following on from this, Lisa was selected by Professor Scott Moeller, as one of the 15 most promising entrepreneurs in the country:
